The total number of employees in the area is over 33,600. In 2017, Dung Quat EZ will continue to be an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors, attracting 35 projects with total registered capital of US $ 3.12 billion, of which 7 FDI projects , with over $ 385 million.
 
Among these, there are many large-scale projects such as Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Complex and asphalt purging and liquefaction plant in Vietnam of Pields Engineering Group (Korea).
 
Overcoming the difficult times after the war, 43 years after the liberation, especially nearly 30 years after the re-establishment, Quang Ngai has achieved remarkable achievements in all areas. Up to now, the poverty rate of the whole province is about 11% and the mountainous area is 36%. The average income of Quang Ngai is 51.8 million VND / person / year. These achievements will be the driving force for Quang Ngai to develop faster and more sustainably in coming years.
